Women's Life Insurance

Womens Life Insurance

If you are a woman, or a man with a spouse, then you have probably considered purcashing life insurance for your husband. You understand that you need to replace his income and pay off debts if he dies. However, many families overlook purchasing life insurance for women because in those families the wife is not the primary breadwinner.

However, even if a woman is not employed outside the home, her contribution is obviously valuable. A wife and mother probably serves as the maid, cook, and transportation for the rest of the family. Of course, many women also serve as the home tutor and counseler too! Would your family want to do without all of these services if something were to happen to Mom?

Also, womens life insurance is usually very affordable, cheaper than men for the same age and rate class. Also, the face amount needed may not even be that large in the terms of life insurane premiums, and so it would not be a huge expense.

However, even a very small life insurance policy of, say $50,000, can make a huge difference in how well a family can adjust to a tragedy.
