All of the buzz from financial advisors is about life insurance these days. For most people, term life insurance is much cheaper than whole life insurance for the same applicant and face amount. However, is cheaper always better? Apparently your financial advisor believes that is what you think! But I think you should take some time to compare the advantages and benefits of whole life insurance before you commit to a long term contract.
Whole life insurance does cover you for, well, your whole life! Term life insurance expires after a period of years, possibly just when it is difficult and expensive to obtain coverage. But maybe not at a time when you have outgrown your need for life insurance.
