Car Insurance Claims Raising Rates

Will car insurance claims raise your rates? Well, lots of us think so. Car insurance companies share databases of claims that were made, so if you do make a claim, and even if you switch your car insurance company, you are probably risking a rate increase. If your out of pocket amount to repair the damage will not be more more then your car insurance deductible anyway, you may want to ask your agent if you should just pay for it.

Of course, if you have a major accident and risk a large amount of liability, you will want your car insurer to be in the game. They are certainly well equipped to defend their own money, and that will protect you too. After all, that is why you pay your premiums, right?

If you think a cliam has raised your rates beyond reason, it is time to start comparing car insurance quotes now.
