You can barely look at a website without seeing an offer for a free insurance quote on the internet. Why do people need to compare quotes anyway?
Well, if you live in the same country I do, the US, you are probably nervous about ripping open a bill because costs are rising. After one accident, I endured a sizable increase on my car insurance. My health insurance seems to inch (or leap) up every time it is renewed. However these industries are competitive, and other insurance companies want our business too.
It takes about 4 minutes to fill out an online insurance quote form, and since you can get free insurance quotes, it hardly makes sense not to compare.
