Where, O where is our health reform?
Wow, this latest iteration of the health reform bill, now bogged down in the senate, is so bad that Howard Dean thinks they should just scrap it and start over. And Obama White House who made such a big issue out of this, is strangely silent.
Even a few days ago, I had hope that the Medicare at 55 option meant that a public option was not totally dead - but would get phased in gradually through an established institution.
And I still am not sure how this latest plan helps uninsurable Americans get health insurance either. I get that it forces everybody to have health insurance, but that seems like it helps insurers more than consumers!
If you are still struggling, try one of many options on the market. An online quote form can still save you some time and money because it will allow you to enter your basic details one time, and then let health insurance companies compete for your business.
Here are some options if you have no health insurance now. Of course, you can also use tips on that page to find a new policy.
