Well, the proposed Medicare Advantage cuts are all but dead. I hope they stay dead! The cuts would hurt the poorest of our seniors, and really cut through the minority communities.
Medicare News Today reports that advocacy groups rose up to kill the bill. Look, I'm all for more help for children's health insurance, but we shouldn't have to take benefits from poor seniors to do it!
Now if Congress can find a way to provide better benefits to seniors, childrens, and the rest of us without cutting benfits to the most vulnerable, I'd be happy to see it!
