The good folks at 247QuoteUS.com have posted an interesting article about what makes a car cheaper to insure. Of course it all has to do with the statistics that insurance companies have on different cars, and on those cars with safety features. The important points are car safety, technology, possiblity of theft, and how easy the cars are to repair if they should be damaged.

As we know, and as the article points out, the actual car is not the only factor in a premium payment. Actually - I would imagine - the driver's history (or lack of one) plays a much bigger role. If you've ever put a teenager on your auto insurance policy you will know what I mean!
